Freshwinds in Watermill Lane, Hastings in East Sussex, offers the perfect camping experience in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We have 15 spaced pitches and 3 yurts, shepherd’s hut and a tiny house to choose from, ensuring we suit everyone’s needs.
Owl Yurt – the yurt is next to the pond and enjoys beautiful views of the valley and surrounding farmland. Facilities include a wood burning stove, double futon and 2 singles with bedding and pillows. There is a compost toilet for your exclusive use.
Tiny House – The cosy house is only 2.4meters wide and 4.5 meters long. It has its own shower and dry toilet incorporated in the design. A small loft area is home to a double bed where you can chill out and take in the beautiful view of the surrounding country side through the dorma window. The kitchen is comprised of a sink and gas hob with all the equipment you need including cutlery, crockery, pots and pans leaving plenty of storage area for your supplies. A comfy sofa coverts into a bed for the children to sleep on. Outside is a decking area with table and chairs. A fire pit and BBQ grill are on the lawn.
Shepherds Hut – The hut sleeps up to 2 people and is furnished with a double bed. It includes bedding, wood burning fire, table and chairs. Outside is a fire pit, seating and table. You also have use of a compost toilet.
Our 15 pitches include spaces in woodland glades and pitches in the field. We also have a therapy yurt available which provides onsite treatments and classes.
