Eviedale Campsite, Evie, Orkney

Eviedale Campsite offers camping facilities within the beautiful village of Evie, on the west mainland of Orkney. The site is split between two areas; The small meadow is sheltered and next to the shower block and so is ideal for those with young children. The Large Meadow is larger and across the road from the main site, it is perfect for wild camping with fantastic views down to Evie beach and Aikerness bay. The Islands of Rousay and Eynhallow can also be seen from the site.

The village of Evie's main attraction is the iron age complex, The Broch of Gurness. There is also the Birsay Moors RSPB Reserve nearby, it offers visitors a chance to see iconic Orkney birds such as hen harriers, short-eared owls, arctic skuas and red-throated divers. Take a walk up nearby Mid Hill for breathtaking panoramic views across the island.

For some home cooked food please visit our Café & bistro within Eviedale, perfect for artisan coffees and teas, home baking and wholesome light lunches. Freshly made pizza coming soon.
