There are two restaurants within walking distance. Both serve quality food and one features a large beer garden. There is a station in the village and it takes no time at all to get into the centre of the historic university city of Cambridge. There are many punts to rent to travel through the city on the river Cam.
Other places include Wimpole Hall and Anglesey Abbey which are both National Trust properties. There is also Audley End and Wrest Park which are both English Heritage. Duxford Imperial War Museum and Newmarket Racecourse are also not far away. The Tea/ Coffee shop in the village is an easy walk, there are plenty of public footpaths and an RSPB reserve up river.
