Our West Sussex campsite offers campers a real woodland camping experience – complete with open fires, birdsong, den building and butterflies in a secret camp set in a magical woods.
The nine ‘easy camping’ Bell Tents are set in a beautiful campsite with open campfires, within a five acre semi-ancient bluebell wood in the heart of Sussex. Our woodland campsite is located in the High Weald, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The Bell Tents offer a unique, off-grid, holiday ‘wild glamping’ experience and are set apart in the trees giving solitude and privacy from the outside world. The camp is located in West Sussex near Haywards Heath, close to London, Brighton, Lewes and Ashdown Forest.
Wild Boar Wood Campsite offers an opportunity to camp side by side with nature, whilst enjoying the comfort of our tents, with beds, cooking equipment, open fire bbq grill and a firewood allocation. It’s off-grid camping made easy!
We do prefer to label our fully equipped bell tents as ‘wild glamping’ as we have no hair dryers, phone chargers, power points, butler service, silk sheets or hot tubs. Rather we provide a fun, relaxed, real camping experience made easy, with just about all the camping equipment you should need, all set-up and waiting for you in a lovely campsite in a magical woodland.
