Forming part of a working hill farm surrounding a 12th century
cistercian monastery, Cymer Abbey (right), the camping site caters for touring
caravans, motor homes and tents, with electric hook-ups available.
Being ideally placed between mountain and sea, there is something for
every taste within easy reach. The historic market town of Dolgellau is within
1½ miles while the sea is within 6 miles. For walkers, there are a number of
very popular paths including the Precipice walk and the Panorama walk. The area
is very popular for fishing with many well stocked natural lakes in the
immediate vicinity. A pony trekking centre is situated within 2 miles.
