The village of Eype, unchanged by the years, has a good "local" which serves real ales and bar meals (children and dogs are welcome).

The market town of Bridport is only 1.5 miles away with a good range of shops, pubs and eating places.

The camping field is on a sloping ground where careful terracing ensures a level pitch to suit most types of tent, trailer tent or motor caravan. Facilities include toilets, hot and cold water, free showers, washing up sinks, hair dryers, also a coin operated launderette with ironing board and iron.

Eype House Caravan Park has modern four and six berth caravans. Which are positioned up the hill on the side of the valley looking over Lyme Bay. All caravans have mains water, shower, toilet, colour TV, fridge, cooker and heating.

Coastal walks undulate over the cliff tops to Thorncombe Beacon, Seatown and Golden Cap to the West and to Westbay and Burton Bradstock to the east, each with spectacular views over the lovely Lyme Bay.

Eype House has its own shop for every day needs as well as serving teas, coffees, cream teas, ice creams and snacks in the tea garden.
